Break

It has been some time since I posted a blog. I guess I just needed a moment. To much shifted in the past year and it all of a sudden caught up to me. I was about as depressed as I can get. Still doing the things I need to but the things I didn’t where pushed aside.

How often do you give yourself recovery time? For the majority of my life I just said “I can’t.” Lazy, unproductive, worthless all come to my mind. I have spent the past 4 months exactly that lazy. Lazy meaning unwilling to work or use energy.

We live in a world that values production, over consumption and disconnection. Because of this your mental, emotional and physical health are at risk. I needed to actually feel this in my body, mind and spirit to understand this perspective of slowing down and self reflection. Figuring out what is important and what is not.

For myself and many people I know “work” is a large source of our worth. We compartmentalize many aspects of our lives, i.e. work, play, spirituality, family relationships, other relationships, but the majority of our day is spent in and at work. Have you ever thought to yourself “if I allow myself to rest, I will never again accomplish what I am working so hard to accomplish”? This is not true. Be careful what you set up for yourself in your thought stream.

One of the single most effective things you can do for your future is slow down and reflect on the past. Reflection often requires that you contemplate the hard parts of your past. What is something that didn’t work? What are all the things that did work? Asking yourself to look at the journey.

Then where do you want to go from here? Dream big friends…

We are receiving distinct energy at this time in our world, specifically this 11-11 portal week to see a huge opportunity to raise in consciousness for those wanting to lift life to a higher plane of manifesting. Look at the bigger picture. Dream big friends…

I give props to all of you that have had to start over this year. This was because your true alignment is ready for you…
